The Los Angeles Kings defeated the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night to hand them their first regulation loss since Feb. 20, according to the Associated Press.
Anze Kopitar scored twice for the Kings in the final six minutes of the game to give Los Angeles a 4-2 victory over the Sharks.
"Twenty games is an incredible streak. There's nothing more I can say about it. It's phenomenal," Sharks' Coach Ron Wilson said. "I mean, we're the only team in NHL history to go the whole month of March [without a regulation loss]. It's virtually impossible, but we did it."
